Who’s visiting this site?

I’d like to know if many Ahwagans are actually using this site. If you’re here, please use the Reply box below to say hi and maybe let us know what you’re looking forward to in the upcoming paddling season. I’m looking forward to trying a couple of stretches of river I haven’t paddled before, and of course I ALWAYS look forward to Mike’s Wednesday evening trips.

    I can’t wait until the new season! I’m looking forward to attending the Mountainman Paddelfest in Old Forge the weekend before Memorial Day for a new kayak. Anyone who would like to tag along? Any dates for the sojourn?

    Just finished the Susquehanna Sojourn 2012. Many thanks to Chuck Haupt, Rick Shumaker and Erin Heard. They ordered perfect weather and we got it. The trip was fantastic, and I would advise club members to look into going on next years trip when it is available. Great group to paddle and camp with.

    Hi Folks. Plod Pedal Paddle here. I am also looking forward to the Wednesday night trips, and paddling some new stretches of water. Only a few weeks away now.

    I joined the club @ the March meeting. Looked @ this site to find what trips are posted & also see any information about 4/23 meeting. Planned on going – but something came up & I wouldn’t have made it in time. Looking forward to next meeting & planning on going on alot of trips.

    Welcome, cpkava! We’ll be very glad to see you at the meeting on Monday, and we hope you’ll consider joining the club. We’ll have all the necessary paperwork at the meeting. You can also learn about membership by going to “About the ACKC” in the menu bar above and clicking on “How to Join.”

    I just joined the site and was planning to come to the meeting on April 23, not sure if that makes me a member. I am interested in becoming a member as my wife bought me a kayak for christmas(now I don’t have to borrow anymore) and we also own a canoe that we use together.
    So, hope to meet some folks on monday night.

    Sharon, I heard that you and Dave originally expected to do Mike’s trip on the Ti yesterday (rerouted from Tunhannock Creek), but that you’d had to change your plans. We missed you! I’m among those still in the workforce, but I look forward to seeing you (and David when he’s available) on a trip outside of business hours sometime soon.

    Oops, it did work. Ron, how do I erase?

    I just tried to post a comment and it didn’t work. do I need another lesson? Sharon

    Hi Everyone,
    I visit the site periodically to check new trip posts. We should be on the water today (Monday)! Merrill, when you want to paddle, let me know. David is working so I am home alone with no one to paddle, hike, or bike since all of my local friends are still in the work force. Sharon

    I just checked in to reprint a trip list, can’t find the one I had. And thought I’d check the photo album. I see it isn’t fully up yet, but glad there are some pics avalilable.

    Interesting numbers, Ron – thanks! Now if some of those visitors will write a word or two, we can start to get an idea of who’s here.

    How many are actually using the site? Hmm.. If guests visiting the site constitutes using, then about 29 per day would be a recent average. The server keeps a rolling total of human (no bots) site visits. Here’s a current tally;

    879 visitors since 03-08-2012 09:27 pm ESTg.
